Marie, please tell us a little about you and your role at Round Office SA in Geneva. Could you please explain your concept?
Round Office distributes and installs multi-brand office furniture in French-speaking Switzerland (particularly in Geneva). Our expertise is based on the accompaniment and advice offered to the customer. Specifically through the 3D design and implementation of furniture according to plan.
What led you to participate in the "USM Plant Worlds" campaign with socialPALS?
Because of time constraints, Round Office’s marketing department cannot ensure a constant presence on social networks. What socialPALS offers – the provision of ready-made content and a calendar of planned releases in partnership with our top brands – allows us to be present on the networks without losing time.
How big was the time commitment on your side to start the campaign?
About 20 minutes for the first campaign (with registration at socialPALS and some training time) and 5 minutes for the other campaigns.
Was the campaign successful from your point of view? What factors do you use to measure the performance of a promotional offer like this?
In addition to the obvious development of our visibility (number of impressions, number of clicks), we have noticed a slight increase in USM orders during this period. Although we cannot attribute this to the campaign with certainty, we can already assume it is correlated.
Have you noticed any effect of content promotion with ad budget?
Since our networks haven’t been maintained in a big way for some time, promoted posts naturally have a much more significant impact than organic posts.
Personally, what do you see as the benefits for retailers using socialPALS? Was the platform helpful support in the communication of the product? Did it save you time/money and work compared to more "traditional" marketing?
In our case, the benefits gained from socialPALS relate primarily to saving time. The platform enables us to show more network presence in the shortest possible time. However, the selected networks (Facebook and Instagram) are aimed more at private customers, which make up only 10 per cent of our target group.
Will you continue to participate in socialPALS campaigns in the future? Would you like to see more brand partners working with socialPALS?
Yes! We hope to multiply our publications on socialPALS once our brands decide to partner with the platform.
